Greetings! My name is Mela, and I’ve traveled all the way from Mississippi to the CAHS in search of my forever family. As a Blue Heeler, I am hoping to find someone who understands the needs and characteristics of my breed.
I’m an active and energetic dog who absolutely loves to run, play, and engage in exciting chase games. If you’re an active person seeking a companion to join you on adventures, I might just be the perfect match for you!
It’s important to note that I haven’t had the best interactions with other dogs during my time here at CAHS, so it’s best if I am the only pet in the household. Additionally, I have a strong prey drive, so I would be inclined to chase cats if given the opportunity.
In terms of the ideal home, I would thrive in an environment with children aged 8 and above. Their maturity and understanding will ensure a positive interaction between us.
