King Tut came to us all the way from Louisiana to find his forever home. Here is what his previous rescue had to say about him.-
“King Tut came to us from a heartbreaking situation. His elderly owner, who was bedbound, was tragically abandoned by her caregiver. When she was hospitalized and later placed in a nursing home, we were called to help with the 13 cats she left behind. The home was in horrific condition—unsanitary and neglectful—and the cats had suffered abuse at the hands of the caregiver.
Despite it all, King Tut was one of the few who walked right up to us, asking for love. Now almost 6 years old, he’s learning that life can be safe, calm, and kind. He’s sweet on his own terms and enjoys pets and affection when he’s ready. His favorite things include wet food, treats, and chasing shadows, and you’ll often find him napping peacefully under a shelf.
King Tut gets along well with other calm cats and would do best in a quiet, low-stress home. He needs someone patient who understands that quick movements startle him. He would not thrive in a household with small children.
