Meet Daisy Mae from Shelburne, NH

My baby Lulu crossed the rainbow bridge in January – at first I couldn’t look at photos of dogs. After awhile I could look but would cry my eyes out. Then one day CAHS posted photos of a group of dogs that was rescued from a kill shelter in Georgia – and in those photos was a picture of a black lab mix with a little bit of white and I went – that’s my dog. We got to see Daisy through the glass the next day and the day after that came back to meet her. I was told “Remember you don’t choose the dog, the dog chooses you” Well we chose each other – and rescued each other. It has been mutual love ever since. She’s my girl.
