Maggie and Chief, two spaniel mixes ages 11 and 3, came to the Conway Area Humane Society after being rescued from a hoarding situation in southern New Hampshire. Animals in hoarding situations face deplorable living conditions, are often neglected and become malnourished and sick as a result. These animals suffer from a severe lack of love and attention they surely deserve.
Faith and friendship are powerful things! Though very undersocialized, this dynamic duo had the love of each other to keep the faith during hard times. Their hopeful nature paid off. On November 25th, a loving couple adopted both Maggie and Chief together. As they head to their forever home in southern New Hampshire, let’s hope that these incredible creatures had a wonderful first Thanksgiving – the first of many to come.
