Jordan’s Way Hosts Funny Facebook Stunts to Raise $13,000 for Conway Area Humane Society Conway Area Humane Society raised an astounding $13,000 through a series of wacky stunts on Facebook Live, thanks to the enthusiasm of Kris Rotonda from Jordan’s Way. Jordan’s Way is known for traveling to all 50 states, tirelessly raising funds for animals in need. We first joined forces with Jordan’s Way back in 2021 and were thrilled when they approached us for a return collaboration. This year’s event surpassed our expectations as Kris and his team continuously amazed us with new and exciting challenges. Together, with your incredible support, we reached the impressive goal of $13,000!
The event was filled with unforgettable moments, and we’d like to share some highlights with you:
– Board Member Craig Bartolomei invited his Kennett High School Volleyball team to pie him live on camera, at the same time – what a mess!
– Mr. Valley Dan Lavigne embraced being egged by all of our dedicated volunteers when we reached the $6,000 milestone.
– Board Member Caitlin Baldwin engaged in a thrilling dog treat eating contest against one of our adoptees.
– Board Chair Nate Marles and Executive Director Tim Westwig bravely took on the ice bucket challenge to close out the evening.
The event was a joyous occasion filled with laughter and fun for all involved. Some of you sent in donations to pamper our adorable dogs, while others generously contributed to see someone pied, egged, or tortilla slapped. It was all in good spirits, and every single donation went towards helping our homeless animals in need. The wacky stunts also provided an opportunity for us to showcase some of our youngest, oldest, and longest-term animal residents. We are grateful for the chance to introduce them to all of you, and we’re excited to see who will step forward to meet these pups. We are now working diligently to clean up the mess and continue our mission. We remain committed to our cause of caring for and finding forever homes for our beloved animals.
