Each year, the Miranda Lambert Mutt Nation Foundation surprises a handful of outstanding shelters with an unexpected, and oversized, $5,000 check to show their support for the work we do. This oversized package delivery definitely had us guessing! CAHS was selected based on many factors, including our high adoption rates, strong body of volunteers, our fiscal responsibility and fundraising efforts, community presence, advocacy efforts and more.
We appreciate recognition as a top shelter in America, and want to emphasize that we could not perform such important work in our community without the support of our passionate, dedicated community members. We thank everyone who supports the shelter through adoption, volunteering, advocacy, and donations.
